Description
We use our premium FBS as starting material and then use our qualified supplier to apply a dose of irradiation in a range of 25k – 50kGy.
Our Gamma Irradiated Fetal Bovine Serum is irradiated at an industry standard dose of 25 – 50kGy.
Triple 0.1 µ filtered
All fetal bovine serum is fully traceable and is sourced from audited suppliers
Large lot sizes of up to 1000 Liters
Standard gamma irradiated FBS serum packaged in 500mL or 1 L bottles. Custom packages are also available.
Storage conditions: ≤ -10° C
Regeneration Biology manufactures gamma irradiated fetal bovine serum using a controlled process to apply a dose of irradiation between 25 – 50kGy to our premium fetal bovine serum. Most of the typical viral contaminants of bovine serum are readily inactivated at this irradiation range. We work directly with our customers to configure gamma irradiation lot sizes that meet their targeted irradiation specification, while minimizing the cost of the gamma irradiation process. Advantages of Gamma Irradiation:
- Clean; no potential for residual contaminants
- Widely accepted by pharmaceutical and research industries
- Accepted by regulatory agencies
- Minimal effect on product performance
- Effective virus inactivation
- Scalable to any size serum requirement
